OK, I know Halloween was two days ago, this is how busy I've been. This is my replacement Jack-o-lantern.... I originally had three big, beautiful pumpkins which we grew in the garden this summer. When they matured, I put them on the front porch until we were ready to carve them. The night before I planned our pumpkin carving party with the little ones, some kids smashed them, one on our driveway, and then carried the others down the street to share the mess with our neighbors. Sigh. SO my mother-in-law was kind enough to give me her two tiny pumpkins, which were too small to carve. Instead, I poked some holes in them and we made Mr. Pumpkin Heads. Which worked out better anyway because this way my 15 month old could participate without eating raw pumpkin seeds.
